*Students given Monday to work on their pop up advertisement project. Project is due tomorrow. See last Thursday and Friday's classes for model and directions.
*Collected Edline letters.
*Check formative papers for those students who still had a hard time finding reasons why foreigners came to Hawaii.

Homework:
1. Take home formative project due tomorrow. Must be completed before class. Students given 2 days in class plus weekend.
2. School Summative on Wednesday.
3. Progress Reports posted this Wednesday.

ALL STUDENTS SHOULD HAVE GIVEN PARENT THEIR ELDINE ACTIVATION CODES LAST WEEK. PROGRESS REPORTS WILL BE UP THIS COMING WEDNESDAY.

*Students had time in class to work on sketching out their pop up advertisement cards
*Students given feedback on their formative project (why foreigners came to Hawaii)
*Informed students that 2 cards are due on Monday. This will ensure that students get a "proficient" grade and that less stress will be on them if they want to go for the "advanced" grade. They will have time in class on Monday to work on last one if they choose to.

Homework:

1. 2 pop up advertisement cards due Monday.
2. Edline letter due Monday. (Parents should activate their accounts to view child's grades)
3. Field trip forms sent home today. (Due next Friday) - Waipahu Cultural Center $6.00.
