*Students given school summative on using geographical representations to explain population distribution and human and physical characteristics
*Students who did not complete Pacific Island project received a potential failure letter to be signed by parent tonight. Students were given recess, lunch and afterschool to show any late deadlines not met (research guide, resources, 2 maps and bibliography)

Homework:

1. Turn in Powerpoint or slides by tomorrow
2. Get parents to evaluate project and hand in tomorrow
3. Students will start American Heart Association service learning drive today (We are collecting monies to raise money for the American Heart Association and will have a Dance-Thon at the end of the service learning project.)

LAST DAY TO CHECK INFO. AND GET TEACHER SIGNATURE IS TOMORROW. STUDENTS WERE GIVEN ENOUGH TIME TO RESEARCH INFORMATION.

1. School summative tomorrow (Use maps to explain population distribution and the physical and human characteristics of places.)
