For Wednesday, June 30th:

Classwork:

1. In class today we went over Note-Taking Strategies handout , different ways students may take notes for readings that are given. Each of the readings starts with a set purpose, students then need to take notes using formats on the handout.

2. Used the Class System reading (Purpose: Explain how early Hawaiian society was organized) as an example and took notes on the reading. Students are to finish notes for homework.

Homework:

1. Subsistence Economy reading (purpose: How did early Hawaiian society operate or run economically) , take notes

2. Quiz tomorrow (7/1) over the Class system and Subsistence Economy readings (open notes quiz).
