In class today...

1. Teachers met with students and made suggestions/corrections to their thinking maps on the positive and negative changes in Hawaiian history and their effects.

2. Students had time to revise in class.

Homework:

1. Due tomorrow - Thursday - 1st poster (can be either protest or support)

2. Due Friday - 2nd poster and any revisions to the letter to the editor.

The posters are to be completed on 8.5 x 11 computer paper, there is no need to buy any poster paper or anything like that. It should have some type of slogan, a drawing that matches the change, points why they support or are protesting, and be colored.

Congratulations to Kasey Isobe, who was honored for her Lex Brodie "Thank you very much" letter she wrote to her soccer coach, Ross Shimabukuro. Tiny Tidani came to the school with his camera and Kasey and her coach were presented with some awards. Our track was also awarded $250 for her winning entry!!!
