In class today:

Students were assigned roles for the mock trial to be held Thursday/Friday. They had time to prepare for the trial during class today and will have time during class tomorrow following the summative.

HW: Study conflict/cooperation between Marshall Islanders and United States based on the novel The Bomb.

Monday, may 16, 2011

In class today:
1. Started preparations for our Mock Trial Marshall Islanders (Bikinians) vs. U.S. Government
Students "applied" for one of the roles in the mock trial. They will be assigned or randomly given one of the roles.

Tomorrow they will have time to prepare. Mock Trial is set for this week Wednesday.

No Homework tonight....

1. Debate groups met, assigned those who will do opening statements, rebuttal questions, and closing statements.

Debate will be tomorrow - each debate should last 10 - 15 minutes.

Homework:
1. Prepare note cards for debate. Prepare for possible points that opposing side will bring up.
